New for 2013

BHSS Scholarship Resource Center

The world of scholarship searching is a big one.   There are many websites and people out there that could potentially be helpful to you in your scholarship search.  We try to post certain scholarships (and definitely not all scholarships) to this website that are either local in nature and/or we feel that a wide variety of our students have a chance to win.  Please do not stop your search here because this is only a very small portion of what is out there.

The BHSS Counseling office doesn’t specifically endorse or recommend any one website but we do know that many of our students have used the www.fastweb.com and the www.scholarships.com website to build a profile and to search for scholarships.  We have also had students that have used www.discusaward.com and have found this to a unique scholarship website.  We try to not post scholarships on the BHSS site that are also posted on these sites to avoid duplicate information but may occasionally include one if we think our students have a good chance of winning it.  Another good website to check out for general college info is the www.knowhow2go.com site and the www.collegeboard.org site.  Our only piece of advice regarding scholarship searches and/or websites is to be aware of any website, organization, or individual offering to help you find scholarships for a fee.  Although not always the case, this can be very indicative of a scam.  Never pay a fee to an organization offering to help you find scholarships.

Great website to search for more scholarships:
